touch the world sparingly. so said jean paul sartre. i do not listen well.
somehow i always thought, no matter what he said, what sartre meant by his statement was that if you touch the world it will taint you.
could it be he meant not that your touching the world would taint you but that you would taint it?

ChapterOne

Green John

As I trucked the forty five pound bag of paraglider flight gear up to the ridge on my back,  I marvelled at what a beautiful and pleasant place I was trucking through. I was familiar enough already to expect joy from every step.  The load was no lighter but the joy in each step added energy way beyond the fuel sufficiency I needed to get to the ridge.

As I rounded the bend into the wind, I found it to be exactly what it had advertised in its song. True, it was a head wind now. True, I had heard the wind sing before. Long before today’s Mozart rocker tune.

The wind needed no gauge of accompanying instruments. It played the eucalyptus trees with natural delight. If ever the wind had mastered an instrument, that instrument had to be that strand of eucalyptus trees. Sure, I had heard the wind play these trees before. Sure, the song was similar to what I had heard before. But, still, it was a different tune.

Once upon a time a systems consultant was on a software contract.

The product was a data mapping system named Mercator. The purpose of this post is to relate that last sentence to my coined word ‘transformercator’.

The creator of the core product algorithm was very protective about her product. Deservedly so – Mercator is a strong name.

Gerardus Mercator lived in the 16th century. Actually his name was Cremere, not Mercator. Maybe he changed it to Mercator because the Church had a warrant for his arrest. Perhaps he was exercising his logic too much.

We liked the previous post explaining the what is and what for and what how of the Valentine package. We wanted to add to that a simple explanation via a YouTube video about the package. Did we say that you can make money by referring the package to your friends? You can. For everyone you refer the package to who buys, you get $2 back. Here is the link to the video: www.youtube.com/transformercator and click on the valentine video The demo for the Valentine package is at transformercator.com/val And should you be so wise as to wish to see the product on the mall remember when you get there the product categories are strung along the top of the page and you want to click on EXECUTABLE category when you go to The SeesTheDay Mall just click that link. Oh, but you are afraid you will not be able to refer folks to Valentine in time for them to purchase before Valentines Day and not get your $2 because they do not want to buy so close to Valentines. Here is our reply:

  1. We think Valentines Day should last all year. The package will be as much fun for folks to share after the 14th as on or before especially if those folks are two very close people who want to share love poetry and crosswords made from them – what a way to spend a day or a night or a day and night or forever.
  2. We do, however, have another way of extending Valentines Day and the Valentine spirit. Feel free to purchase the Valentine package and mention your concern about the referral situation and with the referral’s purchase of the Valentine package we will send them the package plus two gift certicates and in addition we will still send you your $2.

What could be a better deal than that. After all, you and the your referral friends might like jack luna MOTH’s autobiography even more than his poetry with Emily Dickinson and Emily Bronte thrown in. Check our the reviews at http://seestheday.com/mallshowwindow Yes, you probably won’t be that interested in Knight Before Christmases now but Solution One could save your life or at least teach you how to have fund and success in living it. Be well and be a well, jack luna MOTH

Contemplative

Valentine

She was a good poet. The Arts Council put me on its board and gave me the poetry chair. So I could say stuff like “she was a good poet.” OK, she was beautiful, too. But, hey, since I was on the Arts Council, I could say stuff like “she was beautiful.” But looks could go on forever! Without an artist, especially a poet, to describe it, we would all still be drawing pictures on the cave wall with fire embers and chiseling “Ugh + Ughm” on all the rocks.

The venue was the Valentine Love and Lust session of “The Tongue Also Rises” month long poetry tour. We are very fortunate in this county. We have more poets than we have bankers and stockbrokers combined. And we have enough artists to put up one of our own for the National Endowment of the Arts. Anyway, that beautiful poet and I have been together now five years. I wrote the Love Lettuce audio book combo for her. Some of the poems are in the LingoPoeto Valentine package which is available at The Sees The Day Mall When you go to the mall, select the EXECUTABLES category from the category string at the top of the entry page.

Oh, yes, the Valentine Story. Well, years have gone by. We have a fine handsome young son who was one year old on February 14, 2009. His foto is at the top of this post. His name is Buddy, nee Mr. Darcy, aka Dot.Dog, or Aquarius, but mostly we just call him Valentine. And that, my valentine friends, is my valentine story. And in the immortal words of Forest Gump who loved Jenny “That’s all I have to say about that.” by jack luna MOTH
